Presidential Inaugural Committee 2013

Yesterday, Americans came together to once again show that by giving back, we make our communities stronger.

A tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service, the National Day of Service helped kick off the 57th Presidential Inauguration with a nationwide effort to give back. Volunteers worked together with national and local community service organizations at thousands of service projects in all 50 states and D.C.—and they have already pledged more than one million hours to ongoing service in their communities.
